Directions
Driving from Lisbon Airport the best way is to take highway A8, direction "Oeste". Go out on exit number 5 "Mafra/Malveira" and then take A21 to Ericeira. Once in Ericeira just follow local directions.
By public transports, you can go Campo Grande station and take a bus to Ericeira (1h30 trip).
Neighborhood
Often called the Portuguese Mecca of Surf, this beautiful old village has become a popular surf destination, having the privilege to be Europe's first World Surfing Reserve! But even though its waves have attracted more and more people in the past few years, Ericeira has managed to maintain its charm and continues to be a typical fishermen village. Once in Ericeira you have to visit some of its amazing beaches, like Foz do Lisandro and Ribeira D'Ilhas, and of course try the delicious local gastronomy where fish and shellfish take the spotlight!

Wir haben die Zeit in Ericeira und dem herzigen Apartment sehr genossen. Der Garten ist wirklich toll, mit Hühnern, Vögel und den zwei Hunden, welche ab und zu mal Hallo sagen kommen :) Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und helfen wo sie können. Das Airbnb ist etwas den Hang hoch, hat uns aber überhaupt nicht gestört, da es in einer ruhigen Gegend ist und man doch in wenigen Minuten überall ist.
Positive Aspekte: Genauigkeit, Check-in, Reinigung, Kommunikation, Standort, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit in dem Airbnb genossen! Die Hängematten und der Gartenbereich sind super und Nody und Mulan, die beiden Hunde, sind so lieb! Sehr sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber! Die Lage ist super - man ist schnell im Zentrum, am Strand und beim Supermarkt! Wir kommen auf jeden fall wieder :)

kleine Wohnung im Garten von super liebe und aufmerksame Gastgeber :-) man ist schnell im Ort, am Supermarkt und am Meer für den Sommer super, in der Nebensaison etwas kühl, da es keine Heizung gibt

We had a great time in the Opala Villa. The host was super friendly and the garden really is amazing! The loft house is very cute, clean and cozy and just 10 minutes walking to the center and the ocean. It's super quiet and calm so we felt like we were in the countryside and it was very relaxing. We would love to come back!
