#74554. Spotlessly clean and comfortable
Really enjoyed our holiday in Quarteira, the apartment is really in a fantastic location - for beach, promenade, supermarkets, local restaurants, and tickets for tourist trips. Recommend Indian restaurant Shalimar Tandoori, near the apartment. Lovely and quiet and felt we were living amongst local people which was nice. The apartment feels much larger than the photos in fact, spotlessly clean and comfortable. It is on the 6th floor but there is a lift. There aren't any items really left so if you are traveling and can put a bag in the hold, perhaps you want to bring say tinfoil, cereal, salt, pepper, and herbs. We found we had to buy items such as toilet paper, soy sauce, balsamic, sea salt (really good fish market in Quarteira so worth buying a lovely fish and cooking it) which we wanted for cooking but would only use a small amount. We only had hand luggage coming from Ireland. This issue isn't unique to this airbnb - it's only our second-ever airbnb experience so we'd forgotten that basic store cupboard items won't be there. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking however in terms of utensils. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom we only found this on our 5th day! :) there are 2 drawers but we hadn't noticed but had lots of towels and the shower was lovely. Thanks again, would definitely recommend it!
