Directions
From Lisbon Airport, take the 2nd Circular/E1 from Avenida de Berlim. Continue in the 2nd Circular and follow the A37 to the N9 in Sintra. Take exit 9 for Estrada Principal and Estrada de Mafra until you reach Estrada da Cavaleira, where Bacuri villa is.

Lourel is 1.5 km from the village of Sintra, famous for culture and many palaces to visit. The Pena Palace is a must for you to know that from one end to the other and get fascinate with its beauty. Also visit the Quinta da Regaleira with its palace surrounded by gardens, caves and lakes. Serra de Sintra is magnificent and perfect for huge tours to discover fantastic places and lose yourself in a good way.

Мы прекрасно провели время в доме хозяина с нашей семьей, место очень красивое, с видом на Синтру. Нам не повезло с погодой, поэтому мы были в основном в доме. Все прошло хорошо, единственное, что я хотел бы отметить, это качество некоторой мебели, которую следует заменить или отремонтировать. Для такого уровня жилья мебель должна быть подходящей.

The host was very responsive and arranged a flexible check-in and check-out, a baby cot and sufficient towels. We stayed a long weekend with a group of 8 people. Overall we enjoyed the stay and the house is spacious with sufficient kitchen and bathroom facilities, however the place could use some maintenance, as it is less luxurious than expected (worn furniture, stains, arcade room” which is not decorated and a lot of damp spots on the walls). The house is located in a safe gated area, but there is not a lot to do or see in the neighbourhood. We knew this in advance so no issue for us (Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra are within reasonable distance by car).

We stayed for the weekend with friends and family to attend a wedding in Sintra, the house is easy to find and easy to get inside after the host gave us the instructions. House is beautiful, very peaceful surroundings.
