From Faro Airport the best way is to take highway A22, direction Lisboa/Portimão/Albufeira. Follow directions to Portimão and then to Alvor.

Apartamento num local bastante calmo,relaxante, bem localizado. Ideal para uma família com filhos pequenos e que queira passar uns dias bem tranquilos. Será para voltar!!

The apartment itself was sweet, clean and had everything you could need to have a good holiday. The pool is enormous which was great. The apartment is about a mile from any shops so I would recommend taking a car but we quite enjoyed the walk to the shops and down to the beach. Beautiful area. We had an amazing holiday!

Appartement situé à Alvor , joli petit village de bord de mer.L'appartement est situé dans un complexe touristique: Bemposta, difficile à trouver. Sinon belle piscine (eau non chauffée) et appartement correct avec mise à disposition de serviettes de toilette en nombre suffisant. La personne qui vient vous donner les clés est très sympathique! The house is great, exactly as the ad shows.The bed is very good, the kitchen has good conditions to cook, the water of the swimming pool has a good temperature, even when the sky has clouds, the place is very nice and calm. The point less positive is the fact that I didn't found a satisfactory system of transportation, possibly for making my stay in October, so in the winter, will be perfect if you bring a car with you, even to make food shopping because the local market is weak. I had difficulties to make my check in at the time that was supposed, but the host waited patiently for me and was really kind with me, contacting me after I went out, to know if I was satisfied with my stay. With a car, I surely come back to this magnific place.
