Calheta is a charming village that offers a rich historical, cultural, and natural heritage. Discover the Rabaçal Viewpoint and the Garganta Funda Viewpoint, visit the Paul do Mar fishing center, and explore the MUDAS - Madeira Contemporary Art Museum. #81256. Amazing stay
It was an amazing stay, the place was even bigger than we expected. There was everything we needed. The only issue we had is the shower in one of the rooms that didn’t have any door or curtain, so the water was going on a floor. The communication was good and I got responses very quickly.

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. Die Zimmer waren sauber, gemütlich und genauso wie auf den Fotos beschrieben. Besonders gefallen hat uns die gute Lage – man kommt schnell überall hin und kann die Umgebung wunderbar erkunden. Auch der Check-in verlief unkompliziert und die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war jederzeit freundlich und schnell. Man hat sich direkt wohlgefühlt und wir würden die Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

#81250. Het huis was netjes en schoon
Het huis was netjes en schoon. De ruimte is voorzien van veel glas waardoor het een fijne lichte keuken en eethoek heeft. Het biedt voldoende ruimte voor 6 personen. De beschreven voorzieningen zijn aanwezig, en de inventaris compleet inclusief oa yoga matje, strijkijzer en enkele extra strandlakens. Enige kritische punt is het feit dat de nette privé oprit met een wat grotere auto bijna niet te gebruiken is, omdat de draai amper te maken is. We hebben het fijn gehad.

Great place to stay if you want a spacious house with a nice pool and an awesome sea view. We enjoyed the large living area and kitchen, as well as the modern bedrooms and bathrooms. The apartment is very well equipped—we especially liked having a great washing machine and dishwasher. Only one small suggestion: having a second pan and cooking pot would be great.

Everything as described. Very nicely decorated inside. The kitchen has all the essentials. Unfortunately, the beds, i.e. the mattresses and bed frames, are not of sufficient quality. This is particularly unacceptable upstairs. We really enjoyed the roof terrace and the unheated pool outside. In terms of location, it is worth noting that the property is nestled among banana plantations and typical houses, which is very original. Unfortunately, the road below the house is very busy in the mornings and evenings, with some vehicles traveling at high speeds. This is clearly noticeable both outside and inside. All in all a good place to be.

#78899. Precies als op de foto’s
Het is een schitterend huis, mooi ingericht en precies als op de foto’s. De hosts reageren snel en communiceren makkelijk. Wat ons is tegen gevallen is dat het huis aan een doorgaande weg ligt, waar een groot gedeelte van de dag verkeer doorheen rijdt. Hierdoor hebben wij minder buiten gezeten dan gehoopt en ook ‘s nachts geslapen met de ramen dicht omdat je anders gewekt wordt door het geluid van verkeer. Als laatste was het in de periode dat wij er verbleven erg vochtig in de 2 slaapkamers beneden, waar ook in 1 badkamer een onaangename geur hing. Die badkamer hebben wij het gedurende het verblijf ook niet meer gebruikt. Host bood aan om langs te komen en te zoeken naar een oplossing, maar door middel van constant ventileren was het voor ons onder controle.

We hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad in een erg proper huis. Jammer genoeg hadden we 2 keer geen stromend water, maar dat lag niet aan het huis. Wel is er erg weinig materiaal om mee te koken, dat kan beter. Je kan op het terrein parkeren, maar dat is niet evident en eigen aan Madeira. Er is genoeg plek in de straat. Over het algemeen zijn we erg tevreden.
